SBIF Asha Scholarship for IIT Students| Scholarship Amount Rs.2,00,000/-

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program is a financial aid initiative established by the SBI Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the State Bank of India. It's part of the Foundation's Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) and aims to help deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India continue their IIT studies.

SBIF Asha Scholarship for IIT Students

Scholarship Amount: Rs.2,00,000/- 

Eligibility Criteria:
Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian nationals.

IIT Students Enrollment: Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in India.

Academic Performance: Students must have achieved a minimum of 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.

Family Income: The gross annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

Preference and Reservations:

• Family Income: Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• Gender: 50% of the slots are reserved for female applicants.
• Reservation: Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.

Required Documents:

• Marksheet from the previous academic year (IIT Students  as applicable)
• Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card)
• Current year fee receipt
• Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
• Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
• Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.)
• Photograph of the applicant
• Caste certificate (wherever applicable)

• Login or Register: Log in to Buddy4Study with your registered ID or create a new account if you're not registered.
• Access Application Form: You will be redirected to the "SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024" application form page.
• Start Application: Click the "Start Application" button to begin the application process.
• Fill in Details: Provide the required information in the online application form.
• Upload Documents: Upload the necessary documents.
• Review and Submit: Accept the "Terms and Conditions" and click "Preview." If everything is correct, click "Submit" to complete the application.
