Based on the results of the written part of the CBI (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2023, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on March 16th and 17th, 2024, along with interviews for the Personality Test held from July 8th to July 11th, 2024, here’s the list of candidates recommended for appointment to the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation:
- General: 18 candidates
- SC (Scheduled Caste): 3 candidates
- ST (Scheduled Tribe): 2 candidates
The final selection, including candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, will be determined based on guidelines issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (OM 36012/16/2019–Estt. (Res.) dated April 12, 2022), subject to the final outcome of Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022 arising from SLP © No. 30621/2011.
