Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search: Junior Scholarship program
Benefits to Awardees
• A scholarship of Rs.1000/- per month for two years (class XI and XII).
• Annual book grant of Rs.2500/-.
• Exposures to seminars and workshops designed for the young scholars.
Eligibility: The students who have passed their 10th standard or equivalent examinations with 75% marks in aggregate and taken admission in class XI in science stream (with at least 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics and Computer Science) in the year of application.
Scholarship Test: It is a bi-phasic test involving written test (1st Phase) and Interview (Final Phase). On the basis of the performance of written test, short listed candidates are selected for interview. Finally, on the basis of the performance of both written test and interview, a list of Junior scholars is announced.
