OU Junior Research Fellowship

The Osmania University invites application from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (1) to work in the SERB funded research project entitled “Molecular systematic and phylogeography of the genus Rhinolophus (Mammalia, Chiroptera) in India - Understanding distribution and impact of climate change on possible SARS- CoV reservoir” being executed by the undersigned at Wildlife Biology and Taxonomy Lab, Department of Zoology.

Qualification: M.Sc (Zoology / Animal Science / Life Science) First class with CSIR-UGC NET qualified / GATE (Life Science) qualified/ qualified in any National Level examination in Life Science conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Duration: Two years, extensible by one year and co-terminus with the project

Fellowship: Rs.31,000 PM for the first two years and Rs. 35,000 PM for the third year

HRA: HRA (as applicable, as per university norms)

Desirable: Experience in field work and desire and dedication to work hard
