IIM Mumbai PhD Programme Admission 2024 Notification
Eligibility:
Regular Phd Eligibility: A master’s degree or Two-year Post Graduate Diploma (obtained after completing a bachelor's degree with 55% marks or equivalent) or a 5-year Integrated master’s degree (obtained after completing higher secondary school in the 10+2 pattern) in any field with 55% marks or equivalent. OR Professional qualification - CA, CS, CMA (with a minimum of 50% marks) in addition to a bachelor's degree (with at least 55% marks) OR A four year/ eight semester bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or comparable grades
Executive PhD Eligibility: A 1-year/2-semester master's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 65% marks in aggregate after a 4 year/8-semester bachelor's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 65% marks or a 2-year/4-semester master's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 65% marks after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme (Full Time) with at least 65% marks, or its equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed. Candidates applying based on master’s degree programme should have at least 2 years of professional experience after master’s degree. OR A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree programme (Full Time) should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on point scale wherever the grading system is followed. Candidates applying based on Bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience after Bachelor’s degree. OR A Candidate with professional qualifications CA, ICWA, CS (with at least 60% aggregate marks) along with a B.Com/ Degree (with at least 60% aggregate marks). Candidates applying based on the mentioned degree should have at least 2 yrs. of professional experience after completion of their professional degree.
Application Fees: Rs.2000/- for General candidates and Rs.1000/- for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates

- Fee for 2nd year onwards to be paid at the beginning of each year till the submission of thesis.
Delay in the payment of fees beyond the prescribed time will lead to penalty and subsequent cancellation of the candidature from the PhD programme.
Executive Ph.D. Programme: Rs.1.5 Lakhs per year
