Azim Premji University opens admissions for Diploma Programmes 2023

Azim Premji University, Bangalore, set up with a clear social purpose, has opened admissions for Diploma programmes in Education.

The Diploma programmes, designed for teachers and education practitioners, allow participants to continue their existing work and employment while enrolled in the programme. A proven interest in working with young children and/or relevant work experience of two years or more is essential.

Azim Premji University, Bhopal,which will be operational from the academic year July 2023, subject to relevant approvals, will also offer these programmes.

Programme highlights and Objectives
This one-year part-time programme is offered in a blended mode, combining online and on-campus components. Participants have the flexibility to join the one-year Diploma programme or choose standalone Certificate courses. The Diploma programmes will help participants to deepen understanding, build capacity and develop capabilities to contribute to the sector by taking back the knowledge they acquire from the programme into their work and practice.

The programmes provide teachers and education functionaries with knowledge, skills and perspective in key areas like Early Childhood Education, Inclusive Education and Learning Disabilities. Courses are designed in a way that enables practising teachers to apply their learning in their daily interactions with children and colleagues and to seek answers to questions that confound them in their practice.”
