Dr. YSRHU Diploma in Horticulture Programme 2023 - Eligibility:
- Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent
- thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P./T.S such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P, Open School Society (APOSS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS).
- Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O. (P). No. 646, Education (W) Dept, dated. 10.07.1979 and its subsequent amendments.
- Candidates who appeared SSC or equivalent examination held in March/May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply.
- Candidates who have passed SSC in compartmental and who have either discontinued or failed in intermediate are also eligible for diploma admission.
- Candidate who had passed intermediate or pursuing higher studies are not eligible for admission into diploma courses offered by Dr.YSRHU.
Dr. YSRHU Diploma in Horticulture Programme 2023 - Age Limit (As on 31/08/23): 15 to 22 years
Dr. YSRHU Diploma in Horticulture Programme 2023 - Application and Counseling Fee:
- Online application and counseling fee for candidates belong to SC/ ST and differently abled (PH) category is Rs.400/- and for all other candidates Rs.800/-.
- The applicant has to select Rupay Debit Card/UPI/Debit Card /Credit Card (Visa / Master Card)/Internet Banking option to pay the fee and follow the online instruction to complete payment of fee.
Dr. YSRHU Diploma in Horticulture Programme 2023 - Application Procedure:
- Candidates should fill the online application carefully and check details such as local area/ municipal/ non municipal area, reservation/ special categories etc. and submit the application online.
- It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he/she fulfills the specified eligibility before applying/ filling application form.
- No corrections will be permitted once the application form is submitted

Dr. YSRHU Diploma in Horticulture Programme 2023 - Selection Process:
- Per cent of marks/ Total marks obtained in SSC or its equivalent examination will be considered in the order of merit for Seat allotment.
- In case of tie, the marks/grade point obtained first in Science and later Mathematics and Social respectively will be taken into consideration for tie breaking.
- In case if tie still continues, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration and the older candidates will be given preference.
Note: ICSE students need to enter average of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for science and two subjects (History & Civics; Geography) for social while entering the subject wise marks.
