NEET (UG) – 2023 Notification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG) – 2023 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.

Courses: MBBS, BDS and other Medical Courses

Eligibility:

  • NEET (UG) - 2023, the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the Regulations of NMC and DCI. In addition, they must have got a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) - 2023 for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.
  • He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Courses.

Registration Fee:

  • General --- Rs. 1700/
  • General-EWS/ OBC-NCL--- Rs. 1600/
  • SC/ST/PwD/Transgender -- Rs. 1000/-
  • Outside India --- Rs.9500/-

Note: Processing charges & Goods and Services Tax (GST) are to be paid by the candidate to the concerned bank/ payment gateway integrator directly as applicable, at the time of payment of prescribed fee.

Note: NEET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Pattern of the Test:  The Test pattern of NEET (UG) - 2023 comprises four Subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 Questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.

Note: Correct option marked will be given (4) marks and Incorrect option marked will be given minus one (-1) mark. Unattempted/Unanswered Questions will be given no marks.
