Understand what is to be done-My success mantra

(B.Tech. JNTU Gold medalist)
"Every individual in this world is Unique and so are You"- This has been my favourite statement that most of my well-wishers know. There is no secret to victory and the world-known fact to attain success is that every one needs to broadly understand what is to be done, so that mistakes are committed and solutions are brought forward seeking a better performance in the future. Seems so simple to read isn't it! If you think yes, you can succeed too.
I did my schooling at Cluny Matriculation Girls Higher Secondary School, Salem in Tamil Nadu. I was an above average student but never been a topper in my school but I had high ambitions and lots of interest in Sports related activities. I completed my 10th standard and choose Biology-Mathematics group for my higher secondary education.
My College life:
I joined Aeronautical Engineering at MLRIT, Dundigal, Hyderabad. Apart from reading and watching aircrafts in media and papers, I even had a hands-on-experience in fabricating a trainer model aircraft that was for display in front of the college. I learnt to straight away approach the concerned faculty for any queries.
Gold medal:
My hardworking behavior has earned me a Gold medal in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). I got an average of 82.0% in Aeronautical engineering and ranked first among all the affiliated colleges offering this course under this University. It was my pleasure to receive the award at the First Convocation of JNTU held on 27th November 2009 from the hands of the AP Governor.
Technical presentations:
I participated in the National level Technical paper presentation competit-ion on the Cost-Cutting measures in the Aviation Industry, ZAVTRA '09 at our campus. Recognizing my paper, I was awarded the First place with a cash prize. Such moments will make us feel responsible and efficient to take up new tasks.
Conference papers:
Along with our guide, we submitted a paper at the International Conference on Computational Methods in Engineering and Sciences (ICCMES '09), organized by CBIT, Hyderabad. This taught me to listen patiently to experienced pro fessionals in the field of compu tational sciences. Sharing facts and figures was not the only criteria in the conference, but the diver-se nature of people willing to spread and gain knowledge inspired me a lot.
Project works:
Summer course works and Mini project works were the best to train me outside the college campus to face the demands of industries. Working for a few months there itself has made me know how much I have learnt so far, and how far I have to go yet. Learning new software and using them to do some research analysis helped me a lot in the long run.
Success mantra:
Whenever free, I spend some time in the library sorting out different problems and try to present my own style of answ-ering papers in a clear manner. This trained me to write down answers well. I always had a collection of notes with me that can be revised any time. My marks were regularly monitored to keep me in track of what I wanted to achieve.
