8 New Medical Colleges in Telangana: Total MBBS Seats to Touch 10,000!

The Telangana government has announced promising news to aspiring medical students. A notable development has taken place as eight additional government medical colleges have received approval in the state of Telangana.

In a remarkable achievement, the Telangana government has recently issued orders granting permissions for the establishment of new medical colleges.

This noteworthy development includes establishment of 8 new medical colleges in the districts of Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayan Pate, Mulugu, Warangal, Medak, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, and Medchal Malkajgiri. Telangana has thus attained a commendable milestone in the country's healthcare landscape.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR's visionary objective of establishing a government medical college in every district is on the verge of realization. Under the leadership of KCR, an impressive total of 29 new government medical colleges have been sanctioned over the past nine years. This significant progress has led to a remarkable milestone, with the state's MBBS seats set to reach a total of ten thousand. The Health Minister, Harish Rao, expressed gratitude to KCR for his instrumental role in granting these much-needed medical colleges.
