NEET 2023 Cutoff Ranks: Check Details of MBBS seats in Medical Colleges in Telangana

NEET-U G 2023 results are out. The admission process for MBBS, BDS and other medical courses will start soon. Check below cutoff ranks and MBBS seats in medical colleges.

More than last year, this time 9 new medical colleges are coming. That means 900 MBBS seats will increase. Also, seats in some private colleges will increase.

According to the last year's calculation, even if the rank exceeds 2 lakh, there is a possibility of getting a seat in the reserved category. Also, in the unreserved category there is a possibility of getting a convenor seat for the rank of 1.25 lakh. According to the experts of Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University, those who have got more than two lakh ranks at the national level will also get seats in the convener's quota. Also, it is said that those who get ranks between 8 lakh to 9 lakh at the national level will get MBBS seat in B category in our private colleges as well.

8,490 MBBS seats in 56 medical colleges of Telangana
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced that there are a total of 8,490 MBBS seats in government, private and minority colleges in Telangana for the medical academic year 2023-24.

There are 3,790 MBBS seats in 27 government medical colleges. Also, there are 4,700 MBBS seats in 29 private medical colleges. As soon as the details of candidates belonging to the state who have qualified in NEET are received from the National Testing Agency (NTA), the university will issue a notification for admissions.

NEET Seat Allotment
All the seats in the government and 50 percent of the seats in the private colleges will be filled in the convener's quota. 15 percent of the seats in government medical colleges are filled under the all-India quota. If the seats are left after two rounds of counselling, they will be given back to the state quota. On the other hand, it is known that the central government is implementing 10 percent reservation for the economically weaker sections (EWS) in the upper castes. Allotment of seats was done to that extent.
