NEET PG Cutoff Marks 2025 Reduced!!

With this reduced cutoff, the competition for top medical colleges is expected to increase. NEET PG aspirants should stay updated on the counseling process, seat allotment, and category-wise cutoff trends to maximize their chances of admission.
Lower NEET PG Cutoff Announced
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has reduced the NEET PG cutoff score this year, allowing more candidates to participate in counseling. Now, candidates securing at least 5% marks in any category will be eligible for counseling. As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the revised qualifying percentile applies to all categories, including General, EWS, UR-PwBD, SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates.
NEET PG Previous Year Cutoffs
- 2025 Cutoff: General/EWS candidates need 15%, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates need 10%.
- 2023 Cutoff: The qualifying percentile was reduced to zero, allowing all test-takers eligibility for medical seats.
- 2022 Cutoff:
- General category cutoff was reduced from 50 percentile to 35 percentile.
- Reserved and PwD categories cutoff was reduced to 20 percentile.
Impact of Reduced Cutoff
With the lower cutoff percentile, more candidates will qualify for NEET PG counseling, significantly increasing competition for postgraduate medical seats in top institutions.
