1. Project Scientist III: 04 Posts

Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Physics/ Geophysics (Meteorology)/ Electronics/Mathematics or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electronics / Instrumentation/ EEE) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

Experience: Seven years proven research experience in Global Data Assimilation/ Decadal prediction/ Decadal variability/ Decadal predictability/ Climate prediction/ Earth system modelling/ Climate modelling/ Coupled (ocean atmosphere) modelling/ Sea ice modelling/ Land surface modelling. OR Seven years of relevant experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities.

2. Project Scientist II: 16 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences with minimum 60% marks or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology. Or Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences with minimum 60% marks or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology.

Experience: Three years proven research experience in Data Assimilation/ Decadal prediction/ Earth system modelling/ Climate modelling / Coupled (ocean atmosphere) modelling/ Sea ice modelling/ Land surface modelling. OR Three years proven research experience in Decadal prediction/ Climate prediction/ Earth system modelling/ Climate modelling/ Seasonal prediction/ Decadal variability/Atmospheric modelling/ Ocean modelling/ Coupled (ocean atmosphere) modelling/ Monsoon teleconnection.

Age Limit: 40 years

3. Project Consultant: 02 Posts

Qualification: Ph.D. in the fields of Ocean/atmospheric sciences/Physics/ Mathematics or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised University or equivalent.

Experience: 20 years’ experience in the project management.

4. Program Manager: 01 Post

Qualification: PhD in the fields of Ocean Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences/Marine Sciences/ Physics from a recognized University or equivalent.

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Statistics with minimum 60% marks or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Electronics/Atmospheric Science) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electronics / Instrumentation/ EEE/ E&T) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 60% marks. OR Doctoral Degree in Electronics/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent.

Age Limit: 35 years

6. Senior Project Associate: 02 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science (Physics, Atmospheric and Oceanic/ Space Sciences) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Computer Science) from a recognised University or equivalent.

Experience: Four years’ experience, in R&D institutions/ organisations/ academics/ universities within India or abroad, with reference to experiments / numerical simulations of laboratory/ atmospheric/ oceanic fluid flows.

Age Limit: 40 years

Salary: Rs.42,000/- + HRA.

7. Project Associate-I: 11 Posts

Qualification: PhD or M.Tech in Environmental Science/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Physics/ Electronics subjects from a recognised university or equivalent.

Age Limit: 35 years

Salary: Rs.31,000/- + HRA * or Rs.25,000/- + HRA.

8. Project Associate-II: 11 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Statistics or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Experience: Two years of proven research experience in Earth system modelling/ Climate modelling/ climate variability/ climate extremes/ statistical downscaling etc.

Age Limit: 35 years

9. Technical Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science / 3 Years diploma in Engineering & Technology.

Experience: 2 years of work experience in reputed Library.

Age Limit: 50 years

Salary: Rs.20,000/- + HRA

10. Associate Engineer (Electrical): 01 Post

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics/ Electrical/ Power Engineering from recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks.

Experience: A minimum of 03 years work experience in Electrical Projects and Maintenance.
