CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography Notification 2022 for Project Scientist I & Project Associate I

The CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following project staff, purely on a temporary contractual basis to carry out research work on the R&D project and to be engaged in NIO Head Quarters, Goa.

1. Project Scientist I: 01 Post

Qualification: PhD (Awarded) in Marine Science/ Oceanography with specialization in physical oceanography/ ocean modelling/ coupled physical-biogeochemical modelling (or) Master’s degree in engineering or Technology with specialization in computer science and engineering.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.56,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

2. Project Associate I: 01 Post

Qualification: M.Sc Physical Oceanography/ Marine Science with Physical Oceanography specialization or M.Tech in Ocean Science.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.25,000/- Plus HRA as per rules
