The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) invites application for the following posts
1. Scientist B (Civil Engineering): 13 Posts
2. Scientist B (Instrumentation Engineering): 02 Posts
3. Scientist B (Environmental Engineering): 02 Posts
4. Scientist B (Textile Engineering): 04 Posts
BIS Scientist B Qualifications: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty per cent marks in aggregate [fifty per cent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]. ii) Having valid GATE score of 2019/2020/2021. The GATE score must be valid as on 25.06.2021 (closing date of application).
5. Scientist B (Chemistry): 07 Posts
BIS Scientist B Chemistry Qualifications: i) Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent [in Chemistry discipline only] with not less than sixty per cent marks in aggregate [fifty per cent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]. ii) Having valid GATE* score of 2019/2020/2021. The GATE score must be valid as on 25.06.2021 (closing date of application).
BIS Scientist B Age Limit: 30 years
Application Fee for BIS Scientist B: Rs.100/- (No fees is required to be paid by SC/ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Person with benchmark disability/Women Candidates).
