The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board will hold Agricultural Research Service Examination 2021 for determining eligibility for the position of Scientists in various disciplines.

Scientists: 222 Posts
ASRB Scientists Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization as defined in Annexure-VI.
ASRB Scientists Age Limit: 21 - 32 years

Number of attempts for ASRB Scientists posts:

Unreserved category and EWS category: 06
OBC category and PwBD (belonging to General/OBC category) candidates: 09
SC and ST candidates: No limit

Application fee for ASRB Scientists posts:

Unreserved : Rs.500/-
Economically Weaker Section/ Other Backward Class: Rs.500/-
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women: Nil

Plan of Examination for ASRB Scientists posts: Two separate competitive examinations (Computer Based Test + Written) followed by Viva-voce shall be conducted as per the following plan of examination:-

Note: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in ARS-2021 (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type). There will be no rounding off of fractions of marks. This is a qualifying examination and marks scored will not be counted for final selection (except in tie-break cases, if required).
