The Sahitya Akademi invites application for the following posts on direct recruitment basis:

1. Deputy Secretary (General): 01 Post

Qualifications: i) A Post Graduate degree or equivalent. ii) Basic knowledge of computer application.

Experience: 05 years

Age Limit: 50 years

Pay Scale: Rs.67,700 - 2,08,700/-

2. Assistant Librarian: 01 Post

Qualification: Post-Graduate Degree in Library Science.

Experience: 05 years

3. Assistant Editor: 01 Post

Qualification: A Post Graduate degree. Good Knowledge of Hindi/ English and one or more Indian languages of the region concerned.

4. Programme Officer: 02 Posts

Qualification: i) A Post Graduate degree. ii) Good Contacts with writers and publishers. iii) Basic knowledge of computer application.

5. Senior Accountant: 02 Posts

Qualification: i) Graduation in Commerce. ii) Knowledge of government rules and regulations. iii) Ability to prepare various forms of accounts. iv) Basic knowledge of computer application.

Experience: 05 years

Age Limit: 40 years

Pay Scale: Rs.35,400 - 1,12,400/-

6. Sales-cum-Exhibition Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: i) Graduation or equivalent. ii) Knowledge of selling of books and latest methods of sales promotion techniques.

Experience: 03 years

Age Limit: 40 years

7. Junior Clerk: 03 Posts

Qualification: i) 12th class pass or equivalent. ii) Typing speed 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm speed in Hindi. iii) Knowledge of computer application.

Pay Scale: Rs.19,900 - 63,200/-

8. Multi Tasking Staff: 06 Posts

Qualification: i) 10th pass or ITI equivalent. ii) Multi skilling with one employee performing jobs hitherto performed by different Group D employees.

Pay Scale: Rs.18,000 - 56,900/-
