IIPS Notification 2021 for Research Officer Posts

The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) invites application for the following purely temporary position.

1. Research Officer: 01 Post

Qualifications: i) Master’s degree awarded in Statistics/ Population Studies/ Biostatistics and Demography/ Health Statistics. ii) Knowledge of statistical software: Excel/ R software/ STATA/ SPSS/ GIS. iii) One article/responses/comments/correspondence published in a peer-reviewed (reputed) journal related to demography/ health sciences/ public health. iv) One year experience in statistics/ applied statistics/ population studies.

Salary: Rs.40,000/- per month

2. Senior Research Officer: 01 Post

Qualifications: i) Awarded MPhil /awarded PhD degree or pursuing PhD in Statistics/ Population Studies. ii) Knowledge of statistical software: Excel/ R software/ STATA/ SPSS/ GIS. iii) Application of Small area estimation methods and its application to mortality analysis iv) Three articles published in a peer-reviewed (reputed) journal related to demography/ health economics/public health/spatial analysis. v) Two years’ work experience in statistics/ population studies/ health economics/ public health/ geospatial analysis for MPhil degree holders. vi) No experience required for pursuing PhD or PhD degree holders.

Salary: Rs.60,000/- per month
