NIT Calicut Recruitment 2021 for Adhoc Faculty

The National Institute of Technology Calicut invites application for the following posts.

1. Ad-hoc Faculty (Architecture & Planning): 12 Posts
Qualification: PhD/ M.Arch./ M.Tech./ Master of Town Planning after a full time B. Arch degree with first Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA)*. PhD/ M.Tech./ M.Plan. after a full time B.Tech. in Civil Engineering degree with first Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA)*.

2. Ad-hoc Faculty (Civil Engineering): 05 Posts
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Structural engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geomatics, Building Technology & construction Management, Offshore structures). First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA)*. OR PhD/ M.Sc. in Geology. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).

3. Ad-hoc Faculty (Chemical Engineering): 01 Post
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. Chemical Engineering and B.Tech. Chemical Engineering. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).

4. Ad-hoc Faculty (Computer Science and Engineering): 11 Posts
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent after a professional Bachelors Degree of 4 or more years duration in the relevant branch of Engineering. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).

5. Ad-hoc Faculty (Electrical Engineering): 09 Posts
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. (Power Systems/ Power Electronics/Instrumentation & control/ Industrial power & Automation/HV Engineering or any other equivalent/relevant specialization in the field of Electrical Engineering). First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA)*.

6. Ad-hoc Faculty (Electronics & Communication Engineering): 01 Post
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. (Telecommunication, Signal Processing, Electronic Design Technology, Embedded Systems, Microelectronic & VLSI or any other equivalent/ relevant specialization in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering). First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).

7. Ad-hoc Faculty (Mechanical Engineering): 10 Posts
Qualification: PhD/ M.Tech. (Manufacturing, Thermal, Design, Industrial Engineering & Management). First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or6.5/10 CGPA).

8. Ad-hoc Faculty (Mathematics): 09 Posts
Qualification: PhD in Mathematics/Statistics. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or6.5/10 CGPA)*. Those who have submitted PhD thesis can also apply.

9. Ad-hoc Faculty (Physics): 01 Post
Qualification: M.Sc. in Electronics with PhD or M.Tech. in Electronics. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10CGPA).

10. Ad-hoc Faculty (School of Biotechnology): 01 Post
Qualification: PhD & M.Tech./ M.Sc. Biotechnology. First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).

11. Ad-hoc Faculty (School of Material Science and Engineering): 02 Posts
Qualification: PhD in Material Science with B.Tech. in Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Materials Science with M.Tech./ MS in Metallurgy/ Materials Science. First Class is required both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA). OR PhD in Nanotechnology/ Material Science with SEM/ AFM hands on experience. First Class is required both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).
