The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a examination for NET-2023 Examination in Online computer based (CBT) mode in a staggered slot-wise examination format as per the Rules and Schemes of Examination indicated in this notification

ASRB NET 2023 Exam Notification - Qualification: A Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and specialization completed on or before 30.09.2023from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).

ASRB NET 2023 Exam Notification - Age (As on 01/01/23): A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years

ASRB NET 2023 Exam Notification - Fee: Rs.1000/- for Unreserved, Rs.500/- for EW/ OBC category and Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women category.

ASRB NET 2023 Exam Notification - Plan of Examination

There will be one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions to be solved in 2 (Two) hours. Each question carries one mark. These 150 questions shall be derived from the respective discipline in which the candidate has opted to appear.

Note: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the NET-2023.

There will be no rounding off of fractions of marks.

The Board reserves the right to fix/ revise the qualifying marks in any or all Disciplines at its discretion.
