3479 Teaching Staff at EMRS

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).

1. Principal
EMRS Principal Qualification & Experience: i) Master's degree and ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree and iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and iv) Persons working in any of the Govt. / Semi-Govt./Govt. recognised/ CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) schools / Inter College. (a) Holding analogous post, or (b) Ten years of experience of teaching (Vice principal / PGT / TGT) in a recognised high school/ Higher secondary school/ Senior Secondary School/ Intermediate college.
EMRS Principal Age Limit: 50 years
EMRS Principal Pay: Rs.78,800 –2,09,200/-

2. Vice Principal
EMRS Vice Principal Qualification & Experience: i) Master's degree and ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree and iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and iv) 2 years experience of working on the post of PGT or lecturer at level 8 (Rs.47600-151100) in Central/ State Govt./Autonomous organization of central / State Govt.
EMRS Vice Principal Age Limit: 45 years
EMRS Vice Principal Pay: Rs.56,100- 1,77,500/-

3. Post Graduate Teachers

• English
• Hindi

EMRS PGT Qualification: Two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
EMRS PGT Age Limit: 40 years
EMRS PGT Pay: Rs.47,600- 1,51,100/-

4. Trained Graduate Teachers

• English
• Hindi
• Mathematics
• Science
• Social Studies

EMRS TGT Qualification: i) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR ii) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. AND iii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree. iv) Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test or Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose, and v) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

EMRS TGT Age Limit: 35 years

EMRS TGT Pay: Rs.44,900 – 1,42,400/-

Fee for EMRS teaching staff:

• Principal & Vice Principal: Rs.2000/-
• PGT & TGT: Rs.1500/-
• No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.
