The Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) invites application for the following posts on contract basis

Assistant Professors (Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics): 02 Posts

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. 3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Assistant Professors (Dental Anatomy): 02 Posts

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognised University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology. 3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognised Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Assistant Professors (Forensic Odontology): 01 Post

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognised University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology with full time regular Diploma/Degree in Forensic Odontology/Forensic Sciences from a recognised institution of repute after MDS in Oral Pathology. or MSc. in Forensic Odontology from a recognized University after BDS. 3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality in a Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Assistant Professors (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery): 02 Posts

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. ,3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Assistant Professors (Oral Medicine & Radiology): 02 Posts

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Medicine and Radiology. 3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognised Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Assistant Professors (Public Health Dentistry): 02 Posts

Qualifications: 1. A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948). 2. A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Public Health Dentistry. 3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College. 4. Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Age Limit: 45 years

Pay Scale: Rs.67,700 - 2,08,700/- + all allowances admissible to regular employees

Fee: Rs.1000/- for General/ OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
