The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur invites application for the following posts

Project Technician

Qualifications: B.Sc. + 4 years of relevant experience OR 3 year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics or Electrical Engineering only) + 4 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Experience:

• Candidates must have hands-on experience on atomic force microscope with demonstrated efficiency of various modes such Tapping, Contact, SKPM, PFM, CAFM, MFM and EFM modes
• Proven technical skills in operating vacuum pumps, gas lines, optical microscopes, UPS, and power supply setups.
• Proven computer skills with general knowledge of MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Adobe software’s.
• Technical knowledge of the lab purchasing related paper documentation, tenders and quotation processing work.

Salary: Rs.14,400 - 1,200 - 36,000/-
