Eligibility:

For Direct Recruitment: Engineering graduate in relevant discipline OR Postgraduate in Engineering in relevant discipline OR PhD in relevant discipline
Relevant Disciplines are: Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics/ Communications/Electrical/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation or allied disciplines.

Post Qualification Relevant Experience: For Direct Recruitment: a) Engineering graduate in relevant discipline with 20 years' experience OR b) Postgraduate in Engineering in relevant discipline with 15 years' experience OR c) PhD with 10 years' relevant experience. For transfer (absorption)/deputation: In case of transfer (absorption)/deputation, officers of the Central/ State Government/ PSUs/Autonomous Bodies: i. Holding analogous post on regular basis OR having 5 years of regular service in the Pay Level-13A of the Pay Matrix. AND ii. Possessing the qualification prescribed for direct recruitment as mentioned above.

Age Limit/Relaxation:

The Upper Age Limit specified is as on last date of application.
Age Relaxations applicable as per the Govt. of India norms, however not beyond 56 years.
Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years.
In case of deputation, not exceeding 58 years on the closing date of application.
The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be the last date of online application.
