Recruitment Notification for 3282 Teaching Posts in AP Universities!
K. Hemachandra Reddy, Chairman of the State Council of Higher Education, has disclosed that an official notification is set to be released on October 20th, initiating the recruitment process to fill 3,282 teaching positions across 18 state universities. Additionally, there will be a requirement for 70 positions to be filled through deputation.
Addressing the press on October 16th at Nannaya University in East Godavari District, he highlighted that the Chief Minister has made a significant decision. Ad hoc teachers presently in service will receive a 10 percent marks weightage in the selection process for these teaching positions. During the recruitment phase, a ratio of 1:12 will be employed to reselect candidates from the pool. Academic performance and progress of the teachers will be key factors considered during this phase.
Non-Teaching Staff
It has been clarified that the same rationalization procedure employed for the appointment of teaching staff will also be followed in the recruitment of non-teaching staff. VC Rahman of Urdu University has been appointed to determine the necessary number of non-teaching staff positions for each university and compile a report accordingly.
