IIT Kanpur Project Scientist I Recruitment 2024 - Qualifications: The candidate must have a PhD degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering (with focus on computational fluid dynamics), Oceanography, Geophysical fluid dynamics, Computer science or a related field and is prepared to adapt or develop codes. Experience with Ocean models such as Modular Ocean Model (MOM5), Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS) or HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model (HYCOM) is highly desirable. Additional preferable skills include a good knowledge of Python, or PyTorch, and Machine learning.
