The court ruled that the interview should not be conducted for four weeks. The High Court on Wednesday issued interim orders to this effect on a petition filed challenging the digital evaluation of Group-1 Mains exam answer sheets.
The interviews were scheduled to take place from today but were adjourned by the High Court. The AP ordered the Public Commission to file a counterclaim within four weeks.
It is learned that a petition has been filed in the High Court alleging irregularities in the conduct of Group-1 Mains examinations. Counsel for the petitioner argued that the examinations were not conducted as per the rules. The last step is to talk about digital valuation. However, the plaintiffs' arguments on behalf of the government told the High Court that the Group-1 tests were conducted in accordance with the regulations and there was no need to say in advance about the valuation. After hearing both the arguments, the High Court on Tuesday reserved its judgment.
