No Change In NEET PG 2022 Exam Date: NBE Clarifies

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) in a statement said, "It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous elements are circulating false and bogus information using spoofed notices in the name of NBEMS."

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) has not been postponed, and will be held as scheduled on May 21, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) termed the letter circulated on exam postponement as fake. As per the letter circulated on social media, the NEET PG 2022 exam was postponed to July 9.

"All NBEMS notices issued July 2020 onwards bear a QR code. Scanning the QR code will redirect the user to the said notice on the NBEMS website," it said. For any query, the candidates can contact care support at 011-45593000 or write to NBEMS at its communication web portal- exam.natboard.edu.in.

Earlier, over 15,000 medical aspirants submitted a memorandum to PM Narendra Modi, urging to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2022, scheduled for May 21. A medical students' association moved the Supreme Court on Thursday, May 5, 2022, for the postponement of the examination citing its clash with the ongoing counselling for NEET PG 2021. "We 15,000 aspirants writing on behalf of majority of NEET PG aspirants suffering due to the ongoing counselling and upcoming NEET PG 2022 exam scheduled on 21 May,2022. We would like to bring it to your notice regarding the issues faced by the aspirants who are unable to appear for the upcoming medical post-graduation entrance exam NEET PG 2022," the memorandum stated.
