The results were released by AP Edcet convener Vishweshwar Rao in Visakhapatnam. 15,638 people applied for the Edcet this year. Of these, 13,619 took the test.

Convener Vishweshwar Rao revealed that 98.60 per cent of the candidates qualified in the Edcet results. According to last year's data, 42,000 seats were available. The Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council said counseling dates would be announced soon.
