• Former West Bengal Governor JagdeepDhankhar will be sworn in as 14th Vice President of India . President DroupadiMurmu will administer him the oath of office .
• The Vice President is also the chairman of the RajyaSabha. Mr. M Venkaiah Naidu's term as Vice President ended .
• During Vice Presidential poll, Mr.Dhankhar as NDA candidate defeated Opposition nominee Margaret Alva by a massive margin of 528 votes to 182. The election was held on 6th of this month.
