IMD issues red alert for Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Biparjoy over Saurashtra, Kutch coasts

• India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm 'Biparjoy' over Northeast Arabian Sea.
• The cyclon is likely to cross Saurashtra, Kutch and adjoining Pakistan coasts between Mandvi in Gujarat and Karachi in Pakistan near Jakhau Port of Gujarat by tomorrow evening with maximum sustained wind speed of 125-135 kmph gusting to 150 kmph.
