  •  Union Government has accorded highest priority to road safety and set the target to reduce 50 percent of road accident deaths by 2024. Addressing an event, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari stressed on sensitization of stakeholders for collectively addressing issues regarding road safety.
  • Road safety is a very serious issue and there should be zero tolerance for road accidents and that action should be taken immediately on black spots. All Regional Officers and Project Directors should take a pledge of zero accidents.
