First Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award to be conferred upon PM Modi in Mumbai

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Awards Ceremony in Mumbai. On this occasion, Mr Modi will be conferred First Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award.
• This award has been instituted in memory of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar who passed away in February this year. The award will be given annually to a person who has made a path-breaking, spectacular and exemplary contribution to the nation and its people.
