CII and IMT Hyderabad join forces to launch Innovative PGDM Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Hyderabad, 27th March 2024 -Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Institute of Logistics, in collaboration with the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, is proud to announce the launch of a pioneering two-year full-time residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Scheduled to commence from the academic year 2024-25, this initiative is strategically designed to cater to the escalating demand for proficient professionals in the logistics and supply chain industry.

This distinctive course will be instrumental in advancing IMT Hyderabad's objective of fostering industry readiness through learner-centric pedagogy and a curriculum inspired by industry demands.

The Indian logistics industry, valued at an estimated USD 435.43 Bn in 2023, plays a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s economy. With significant technological advancements, government impetus, and infrastructure growth, the sector is undergoing transformative changes. The surge in e-commerce business, coupled with substantial investments by both domestic and foreign entities, has propelled demand for logistics professionals. The PGDM (LSCM) program, a joint endeavor of IMT Hyderabad and CII Institute of Logistics, aims to bridge this talent gap in the logistics and supply chain domain.

We propose to start the program with an initial intake of 30 students. This program is launched in line with the mission of IMT Hyderabad to enhance industry readiness through learner centric pedagogy and industry inspired curriculum. IMTH and CII IL together will strive to bridge the talent gap of logistics and supply chain professionals in the country.”said Dr. K Sriharsha Reddy, Director & Professor (Finance & Accounting), Institute of Management Technology (IMT).
