5 New Polytechnic Courses through AP POLYCET 2021

A record number of students have passed the Joint Entrance Examination (POLYCET 2021) for Polytechnic Colleges in Andhra Pradesh-2021. A total of 68,137 candidates appeared for the exams and 64,187 (94.20 per cent) passed, IT, Industries and Skills Development Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy said. POLYCET-2021 results were released on Wednesday (15/09/2021) in Mangalagiri.

Kalluri Roshanlal from Visakhapatnam and Kommarapu Vivekwardhan from West Godavari district secured the first rank with 120 marks. 9 out of 119 got second rank. Srikakulam district is leading with 95.52 percent pass percentage. Nellore district has the highest pass percentage for girls and Prakasam district has the highest pass percentage for boys.

5 new courses this year

After the release of the results, Minister Gautam Reddy said that there was a good demand for mid-level jobs in the state and that new courses would be made available so that employment would be available after completion of the polytechnic. From this year, 5 new courses like IT, Robotics and Coding will be introduced. The admissions process will begin during the week. He said steps were being taken to have one government degree, ITI and polytechnic colleges in each constituency.
