ISRO Offers Free Training to School Girls in Satellite Building
Training to 12,000 girls
The ShaktiSat mission will provide training to 12,000 girls from 108 countries. After a rigorous training program, one student from each participating country will be selected to work on payload design and spacecraft prototyping. This initiative not only benefits India but also has global implications, as demonstrated by the participation of countries like the UK, UAE, Brazil, Kenya, Australia, France, Greece, Sri Lanka, and others.
Space Kidz India, known for its pioneering work in launching balloon satellites, sub-orbital payloads, and orbital satellites, is playing a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of space scientists. As part of this initiative, ISRO will present a model of the Chandrayaan-4 mission to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This showcases India's commitment to space exploration and its dedication to empowering young girls in STEM fields.
