Preparation Tips For Chemistry
- Completing Intermediate with flying colours is very important as the marks are getting added in EMCET or ISEET. It is very easy to score maximum marks even by average and below average students by opting for a well-planned preparation, which makes a student marks orientation.
- Students need select topics and questions that they are going to prepare.
- Intermediate question paper contains three segments viz.-
Section- B : Small Answer Questions
Section-C : Long Answer Questions
- Generally, most of the students focus only on short and long questions to score well. But very short questions play a key role in scoring maximum or cent percent marks. So, be thorough with VSAQ in all topics.
- Hard work helps the student in obtaining better score than his/her own knowledge.
- For LAQ’S concentrate on Atomic Structure, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties and Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure chapters.
- Selectively prepare SAQ’S from States of Matter, Stoichiometry. Chemical Equilibrium and Acids – Bases. Hydrogen and its Compounds, P – Block Elements – Group – 13 and Organic Chemistry chapters.
- Practice the numerical problems as many times as possible until you perfect them.
- Revise all the important formulae regularly.
Here is the analysis, which guides the students to plan for better preparation.
- You should present your answers in clean and tidy fashion. Good handwriting is an obvious advantage in your presentation. So, those who don’t have good handwriting shall invest some time in the day on improving their handwriting by practicing lengthy answers with proper spacing between the words.
- Answer all VSAQ at one place anywhere in the answer sheet.
- Draw the neat out line diagrams, wherever required or asked for.
- While solving a problem, the answer should contain formula, substitution of data, calculation and answer with appropriate units.
- Work out calculations only inside the margins.
- Answer the very short questions very briefly as per the given question.
