Family Tree:
The relations among the members of a family can be represented in a family tree. The following method is used to represent the relations.
1)    A male member is represented by a (+) sign and a female is represented by a (-) sign.
2)    A parent-child relationship is denoted by a vertical or diagonal line where parent is at the top  and child is at the bottom.
    Parent    Parent
         /         (or)       /
    Child        Child
3)    A wife and husband relation is denoted by a double arrow between them. (husbandÛ wife)
4)    A sibling relation (brother - brother / brother - sister / sister - sister) relation is represented by a horizontal line between them.
    (brother ____ sister)
5)    If data is insufficient to draw a conclusion, then it is denoted by a question mark (?).
