Qualifications:
Qualifications for Paper-1 A Classes I to V in regular Schools:
i). Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
ii). Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002 (Note: This will applicable for the candidates who possess qualification in between 2002 to 2011) (or)
iii) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (or)
iv) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
v). Graduation with at least 50% marks and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Note 1:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/BC/PH candidates."
AP TET PREVIOUS PAPERS
Minimum Qualifications for paper-1 B (Classes I to V in Special Schools): RCI Qualifications at Elementary level:-
i) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability (or)
ii) One year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability. (or)
iii) Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (or)
iv) Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
v) Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
vi) Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or)
vii) Primary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. (Or)
viii) Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
ix) Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
x) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognised qualification of minimum one year duration and 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
Minimum Qualifications for TET Paper- 2A (Classes VI-VIII): Mathematics Teachers/ Physical Science Teachers/Biological Science/Social Studies Teachers/Language Teachers
i) At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). (or)
ii) Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or)
iii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) (or)
iv) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year integrated BA/ B.Sc or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed (or)
v) Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (or)
vi) Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed
Note 1:- Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.
Note 2:- The minimum qualifying marks in Graduation as 40% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ PH candidates to appear for Paper-II-A in APTET-JULY 2024.
Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII): Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
Minimum Qualifications for TET Paper- 2B (Classes VI-VIII in Special Schools): RCI Qualifications at Secondary Level
i) At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation with B.Ed.(Special Education) (Or)
ii) B.Ed.(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education. (Or)
iii) B.Ed. (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education (Or)
iv) B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGPD). (Or)
v) B.Ed. Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC). (Or)
vi) PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation). (Or)
vii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical & Neurological). (Or)
viii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Loco motor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy). (Or)
ix) Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. (Or)
x) Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or)
xi) BA B.Ed. in Visual impairment. (Or)
xii) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
AP TET Examination Fee Details:
- Rs.750/- for each Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A and Paper-2B separately
