Sub-Pronoun Agreement: Pronoun విషయంలో తప్పులు ఎందుకు చేస్తారు?

Pronouns అంటే సర్వనామాలు. అవి నామవాచకాల (nouns) స్థానంలో వస్తాయి. వాటిలో ఏక వచన, బహు వచన సర్వనామాలు ఉంటాయి

• The couple bought the house last week. Now it belongs to them.
• You are old enough to dress yourself. (No need to take help of the others.)
• I found the ring that I thought I had lost.
  ('which' also can be used in place of 'that')
  Sub -Verb agreement లాగానే, Pronoun కూడా సబ్జెక్టుతో సరిపోవాలి.
  Pronoun తప్పుగా వాడకూడదు.
• Raghava Rao has to be used with the pronoun he or his.
• Sahaja has to be used with the pronoun she or her.
• Rajani and her kids has to be used with they.

మరి ఇది ఇంత సులభం అయినప్పుడు, pronoun విషయంలో చాలా మంది ఎందుకు తప్పులు చేస్తారు? ఎందుకంటే, వాక్యం పొడుగైన కొద్దీ సబ్జెక్టు, ఉపయోగించవలసిన pronoun మధ్య దూరం పెరిగిపోతుంది. అప్పుడు పక్కన ఉన్నవాటితో జత పరచాలని అనిపిస్తుంది. దాంతో తప్పులు దొర్లుతాయి.
ఉదాహరణకు..
Chameleon changes its skin colour to blend with the surroundings in order to protect themselves from the predators. (itself should be used in place of themselves.) ఇందులో సబ్జెక్టుకు pronounకి మధ్య 13 పదాలున్నాయి. కాబట్టి తప్పు దొర్లుతుంది.

• Every student should invariably bring their his Hall Ticket to the examination centre.
• Everybody should take his seat.

Some nouns have very typical pronouns. For example, for ship (she), baby (it), nature, spring (she)
