UGC Clarifies On Fake Letter

In an official statement, the UGC clarified that the news is completely false. Students are advised not to believe such rumours and are urged to check only the official UGC website or verified social media pages for updates. The fake notice surfaced shortly after India launched "Operation Sindoor", targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The UGC warned that circulating such fake messages is a punishable offence under Indian law. Students and the general public are reminded to be cautious and not forward unverified information.
