NTRUHS MBBS & BDS Admissions: Competent Authority Quota

NTRUHS administers the Competent Authority Quota for MBBS and BDS admissions in Andhra Pradesh. This quota includes seats in government medical and dental colleges, as well as a portion of seats in private medical and dental colleges.

Eligibility for MBBS/BDS Courses (Andhra Pradesh) - NEET UG 2024 Scores and More

To be eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS courses in Andhra Pradesh, you must meet the following criteria:

1. NEET UG 2024 Scores:

  • You must have secured the minimum qualifying score in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • The cut-off scores are based on percentiles (percentage of test-takers you scored higher than) and vary by category:

2. Additional Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizenship: You must be an Indian National, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder.
  • Residence: You must fulfill the Local or Non-local status requirements as per Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974, and selection procedures defined by government orders.
    • PIO/OCI cardholders registered after March 4, 2021, are only eligible for Non-Resident Indian or supernumerary seats, not seats reserved for Indian citizens.
  • Educational Qualifications: You must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology, and English.
    • Minimum marks in science subjects:
      • General (OC/EWS): 50%
      • BC/SC/ST: 40%
      • PwD-General (OC/EWS): 45%
  • Age: You must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.

Application and Processing Fee:

  • OC/ BC Category: Rs. 2950/- (includes Rs. 2500/- fee and Rs. 450/- GST)
  • SC/ ST Category: Rs. 2360/- (includes Rs. 2000/- fee and Rs. 360/- GST)
