Singareni authorities said that they will recruit 177 junior assistants, 39 mining engineers, 10 industrial engineers, 6 IT engineers and other categories of posts next year through direct recruitment.

Singareni CMD N Sridhar said in a statement on December 28 that it had recruited a total of 16,040 people, including 3,498 through 58 direct recruitment notifications and 12,553 through appointments over a seven-year period. He said that the interview process was completely removed and candidates were selected on the basis of written test only as there was a possibility of injustice to the eligible candidates. The results were revealed on the day of the written test and the appointment orders were issued without any misconceptions.
