Job Role: Lead Research Engineer – Machine Learning and AI

Qualifications: 

• Post-graduate degree (Ph.D. is preferred) in Applied Math/Engineering/Sciences with 1 to 2 years experience
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in statistics and mathematics
• Strong understanding of under the hood fundamentals of deep learning and other machine learning frameworks
• Demonstrated ability in the application of Machine Learning/AI in real-world industrial settings with large scale data
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow or PyTorch is required
• Ability to write scripts in Python, R, Matlab, C++ or similar high-level programming languages is required
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and their tools for machine learning (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is advantageous
• Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaborative development environments          
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, self-directed, and a team player with an ability to take ownership and accountability of assigned tasks
