The Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) is offering a unique opportunity to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Big Data Biology.

IBAB M.Sc Big Data Biology - Eligibility:

Students with a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Science/Technology/Medicine (with degrees such as B.Sc., B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Agri, MBBS, BDS and B.VSc).
Illustrative eligible subject areas are: Life sciences (zoology, botany, genetics, human biology, general life sciences, ecology, environmental biology), bioinformatics, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, any branch of engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, agriculture, medicine, dentistry, horticulture, forestry and veterinary sciences.
A student should have obtained an aggregate score of at least 50% in his/her Bachelor’s degree.
Students in the final semester of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting the original documents before the last date as announced by the institute.
If a student has a backlog, and does not declare it during the admissions, then his/her admission will be cancelled.
Applicants who have had a break in their education or have been working for a few years are also eligible.

Indian nationals, NRIs and foreign nationals who have passed the qualifying degree examination outside of India, must submit the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities along with their application.

IBAB M.Sc Big Data Biology - Application Fee:

For students from India: Rs.700/- (whether applying for one or both MSc programmes)
For NRI/Foreign students: Rs.1400/- (whether applying for one or both MSc programmes)
