Eligibility Criteria: 

• Bachelor's degree in Science with at least one of Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, or a Bachelor's in Agriculture/ Forestry
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or B.Sc Forestry for MSc Wood Science & Technology
• Bachelor's degree in basic/applied sciences, Forestry, Agriculture, or BE/ B.Tech in Environment Science for MSc Environment Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Science with Chemistry or BE/ B.Tech in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering for MSc Cellulose & Paper Technology.
• Minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST).

• Application Fee: ₹1500 per course (₹3000 for two courses, ₹4500 for three).
• Payment: Via Demand Draft to Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University, payable at Dehradun.

Entrance Test Date: May 4, 2025

Test Centres: Dehradun, Jabalpur, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Jodhpur, Shimla, Ranchi, Coimbatore, Jorhat, Hyderabad.

• Exam Pattern: Objective-type, 3-hour duration
• Basic Sciences & Social Science (100 questions)
• Arithmetic & Quantitative Abilities (40 questions)
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 questions)
• English Language & Comprehension (30 questions)
• Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted per wrong answer.
