M.Tech. Programs
M.Tech. specialization in: Agriculture & Soils, Forest Resources & Ecosystem Analysis, Geosciences, Natural Hazards & Disaster Risk Management, Urban & Regional Studies, Marine & Atmospheric Sciences, Satellite Image Analysis & Photogrammetry, Water Resources, Geoinformatics etc.
Eligibility :

• The candidates applying for the course should have the following qualification for Intermediate/ Pre-University Level (including Diploma) and UG/PG levels with SScience stream (with at least any two subjects out of Physics/ Chemistry/ Maths/ Statistics/ Biology/ Comp. Science).
• M.Sc. in Agriculture/ M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.)/M.Tech. in Geol./ Appl. Geol./ Geophys./ Earth Sci. /B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil Engg./ Env. Engg./ Geosci./ Geoexplorer./ Geo-Engg./ Earthquake Engg./ IT/ Comp. Sci.) /B.Plan./ B.Arch. or equivalent.

How to apply:

• Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website https://www.iirs.gov.in/  https://admissions.iirs.gov.in/  .
• To apply online, visit https://admissions.iirs.gov.in/ . The candidate has to choose only one specialization at the time of applying online, which cannot be changed subsequently.
• If the candidate wishes to apply for P.G. Diploma as well as M.Tech., M.Sc. he/she has to select the same specialization for both the courses.
• Govt.-sponsored candidates must submit the Nomination Form from the Competent Authority of their parent organization/institute at the time of submitting the online application.

Application Fee

• For One Programs: Rs. 1,000/- (USD 100 for foreign nationals)
• For Both Programs: Rs. 1,500/- (USD 150 for foreign nationals)

Mode of Payment: Online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Important dates:

• Last date for submission of the application form: 31st March, 2021.
• The date for downloading the Admit Card for Interview: 30th April, 2021.
• Date of Interview (online): Second/Third Week of May, 2021.
• Announcement of Result: The second week of June, 2021.
