Supreme Court Allows NEET UG and PG Counselling Based on Existing Reservations!!
It said that it would soon issue guidelines with full details justifying the Centre's decision to impose an income limit of Rs 8 lakh to identify beneficiaries. It also said that an inquiry into the matter would be held in the third week of March. It made clear that all admissions should be made as per the final judgment.
The court said that they accepted the Pandey committee's recommendations to avoid any disruption to the admissions process. However, the validity of the criteria set by the Pandey Committee for the identification of EWS beneficiaries is subject to final judgment. Pandey said a final inquiry into the validity of the EWS standards recommended by the committee would take place in the last week of March.
