NEET UG Paper Leak 2024: Students File Petition in The SC Against Cancellation of Exam!
The students have filed a petition requesting that the NEET exam not be canceled and have urged the Supreme Court to issue orders to the central government and the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the exam, to this effect. They have also requested that the Ministry of Education be directed to impose strict penalties on those involved in the paper leak.

There have been 26 petitions filed in the Supreme Court concerning the NEET paper leak and subsequent events. The bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud is scheduled to hear these petitions on July 8.
Interestingly, 56 students have filed a petition in the Supreme Court specifically requesting that the NEET exam not be canceled. One of the petitioners, NEET UG student Siddharth Komal, stated, "We urge the Supreme Court to issue orders to the central government and the NTA to avoid conducting the NEET exam again. Canceling the exam would not only harm sincere and hardworking students but also violate their right to education."

The petitioners are calling for strict action against those responsible for the NEET question paper leak and their accomplices. They are requesting the highest court to ensure that all those accountable for the leak are punished.
