NEET UG 2024 Paper Leak: 26 MBBS Students Suspended, 42 Barred for 3 Years

The NEET UG 2024 exam has been affected by a cheating scandal. As a result, 26 students who were caught cheating have been suspended, and 14 students' admissions have been cancelled. NEET UG 2024 Scandal: 26 MBBS Students Suspended, 42 Candidates Barred for 3 Years

The NEET UG 2024 exam is in the spotlight due to a cheating scandal. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has suspended 26 MBBS students involved in malpractices during the exam. Additionally, 14 students' admissions have been cancelled for the 2024-25 academic year.

Action Taken Against Cheating
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also taken action. 12 candidates have been banned for 3 years, and 215 students are under investigation, with their candidatures suspended.

Investigation and Consequences
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is looking into the paper leak and other cheating methods. These steps aim to maintain fairness in the exam process.

Supreme Court Decision
The Supreme Court recently closed the case after the Centre promised to improve the exam system to prevent such issues in the future.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Changes
The NEET UG 2025 exam has already been held on May 4, 2025, with major changes in the paper pattern, difficulty level, and structure to address issues from previous exams. Authorities are hopeful these adjustments will improve the exam experience and reduce opportunities for malpractice.
